| Job Duties: | Responsible for the overall care and maintenance of golf courses and country club. They manage the greens and landscaping and maintain tee markers, flags, ball washers, benches, canopies and on the equipment located on the course. They mow, water and fertilized the grass and manage trees, ponds, bunkers, and sand traps.They relocate the flags and holes on putting greens on a periodic basis to prevent uneven wear and ti increase challenge and interest of the course. Perform a variety of procedures and operate many different types of equipment including mowers, leaf blowers, trimmers, small tractors, bust cutter and tools to fix divots and other imperfections. Measure the speed of the course with stimpmeter. Increase the speed by moving the grass shorter or in different direction. |

| Qualification Requirements: | Require a high school diploma or GED certificate. Greenskeeper must have a solid understanding of the rules and history of golf and the necessary care and maintenance procedures. Must be able to work independently and be able to accurate follow instructions from the course designer and course management. Need anywhere from a few days to a few months of training. Responsible for the cultivation and care of the landscaping and grounds surrounding a business or building. Plants flowers, mows, pulls weeds, repairs structures, and maintains outside of building. Can work in a flexible days and time. |
