| Job Duties: | Responsible for conditioning, planning training exercises, breaking horses to saddle and bridle, desensitizing horses to unfamiliar sights and sounds, utilizing various training aids and specialized tack when appropriate, treating minor injuries, and consulting with veterinarians when more advanced care is needed. Analyze horses' behaviors to assess the horses' dispositions and correct any behavioral problems such as head tossing, kicking, biting and dominance assertion. Help horses adapt to wearing saddles and bridles, teach vital riding commands and work with the animals to correct behavioral issues related to abuse or other trauma. Prep horses for riders or horse shows teach horses different commands for when to perform a certain task. Shall be responsible for feeding, grooming, mucking out stalls, and other general horsemanship tasks. Maybe assign other related duties from time to time. |

| Qualification Requirements: | need anywhere from a few months to one year of working with experienced employees. Must have 1 year of work experience. Expertise in training, conditioning, riding and grooming horses is a must. Work Certification required. Proficient in riding abilities and knowledge of horse husbandry is mandatory. Must be physically fit and body weight must be average appropriate for different horse sizes. |
