| Job Duties: | 1.Installs, maintains and performs repairs on potable water lines, wastewater lines and a variety of plumbing fixtures, such as sinks, lavatories, toilet units, bathtubs, shower units, automatic flush valves, faucets, traps and natural gas piping. 2. Maintains and performs plumbing repairs on laundry equipment, sterilization equipment, kitchen equipment, dairy equipment, cannery equipment and any other equipment utilizing potable water and waste disposal lines. 3. Consults with engineers and suppliers on various plumbing system needs. 4. Must be knowledgeable in using plumbing equipments such as: -Pipe threading machine -Roto rooter snake machine for sewer/drainage line -Other related plumbing equipments 5. Must be knowledgeable in copper/brass pipe welding 6. Must be knowledgeable in the use of the following materials: - PVC - Cast Iron - Black Iron Pipes - Copper Pipes - Ductile Pipes - Other related materials 7. Must be knowledgeable in plumbing lay-out & fabrication 8. Must be knowledgeable in the installation of Jacuzzi, Sauna, Sensor type urinal and water closet,bidet and other related plumbing fixtures. 9. Must be knowledgeable in steam piping systems 10. Must be knowledgeable in water purification, water treatment, reverse osmosis, use of water softener, and desalination. |
