Job Title: Supervisor - Reservation & Revenue
Job Duties: • Provide direction, supervision, guidance and be able to hold accountability to all employee involved in the daily operations of Reservation. • Ensure that all employees in Reservation & Revenue are proactive in upselling and work towards maximization of revenue. • Handle guests and travel agencies from all over the world, mainly from Asia regions (China, Japan & Korea, etc.). • Be accountable for the proper handling of telephone reservations, correspondence pertaining to both F.I.T. and group reservations. • Ensure group blocks, name lists and meal arrangements are being updated correctly. • Ensure that the arrival lists are being checked and followed up properly. • Monitor rate and availability in all channels. • Ensure Reservation Agent has full knowledge of all rates, including negotiated promotional packages. • Conduct shop call to monitor the standard of Reservation Agent. • Assist in making analysis on business situation using Revenue Management tools. • To confirm reservations for rooms according to the room's availability, accord the rates that are currently in effect and arrange the billing according to hotel procedures. • Ensure calls are carried out in a professional manner and meet corporate target, in accordance with established service standards. • Issue instructions and assign duties to Reservations Agent and assist the team in resolving problems and completing work. • Resolve complaints and answer questions of guests regarding services, facilities and other requests. • Coordinate with front desk and ensure response to all special guest requests and make all reservations appropriately for all guests. • Administer productivity of staff and ensure achievement of all departmental goals and oversee all reservation activities for facility. • Ensure guest satisfaction during shift and monitor team members with the same awareness. • Report accidents, injuries, unsafe work conditions and/or security issues to supervisors. • Remain well-mannered and well-groomed as per department and company standards at all times. • Adhere to the company policies and procedures and comply with the Code of Conduct. • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements: • At least 2 years’ working experience in Room Reservation operations in a 5 star hotel/ well-known property. • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent working experience. • Responsible self-starter, capable of handling multi-faced projects and of working under pressure. • Understanding of Hotel Property Management System (preferably Opera). • Proficiency in MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. • Good communication skills and interpersonal skills. • Able to work on flexible shift including overnights, weekends and holidays on rotation basis. • Fluent in English. • Ability to communicate in Asian languages (either Chinese, Korean or Japanese). • Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time while performing duties. • Team player who responds quickly to demands and thrives in a high-pressure work environment. • Able to multi-task.

Comments: Workers Compensation provided. Housing, food and transportation may or may not be provided, contingent on a case-by-case basis.
