Job Title: Manager – Hotel Sales (Korea Market)
Job Duties: • Establishes sales plan and budget to reflect the company’s and the hotel’s goal and objectives. • Provides leadership in the areas of Sales and works closely with the Director of Hotel Sales and Marketing. • Directing, managing, and coordinating an efficient and effective sales and marketing plan for the hotel. • Works closely with Sales Division in managing and supervising the sales department. • Establishes the hotel’s rate structure in accordance with company’s policies and hotel’s objectives. • Maintains and upgrades communication networks to ensure that the hotel is having a completive advantage in information and sales leads. • Creates sales campaigns focused on communicating and nurturing relationships with clients and customers, and driving repeat sales. • Prepares presentations for clients, tour operator, and hotel associates, attends and participates in Sales events and activities to ensure productive connections. • Conducts market analysis and devises strategies for generating new business. • Analyses the sales results and recommends ways to improve or solves the problems. • Furnishes sales monthly reports on a timely basis. • Meets regularly with hotel department heads to review sales effort and provide feedback from customers. • Achieves budgeted room night quotas and average rates set out in the yearly business plan for the hotel. • Manages the department to ensure sufficiency of manpower in accordance to volume of business. • Ensures each staff is a good sales person to promote hotel’s image and businesses at all time. • Coaches and counsels all staff especially the department and unit manager when applicable. • Provides and supports the most effective training to all staff regularly. • Coordinates with all concerned personnel to ensure that all activities are accomplished. • Communicates effectively with guest, clients, business partners, and staff. • Report accidents, injuries, unsafe work conditions and/or security issues to supervisors • Interact with department and team members, management, and contractors professionally and positively. • Encourage good relationships, promote team spirit, and ensure effective two-way and multicultural communications. • Adhere to the company policies and procedures and comply with the Code of Conduct. • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements: • Must have 5 years sales experience in a similar capacity, preferably in a 5 star class environment • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel Management or relevant discipline or equivalent working experience • Excellent interpersonal / presentation skills are preferred • Strong leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate the team to achieve high level of performance and exceed targets • Responsible self-starter, capable of handling multi-faced projects and of working under pressure • Proactive and innovative problem solver • Have a positive attitude toward challenges and the drive to excel • Possesses professional disposition with excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Proficiency in MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint • Team player, who values teamwork, has good team building skills and is able to communicate effectively with all levels of employees • Have excellent communication skills in written and spoken English • Ability to communicate in Korean • Self-motivated, well-organized, responsible, friendly and polite with excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Team player who responds quickly to demands and thrives in a high-pressure work environment. • Able to multi-task.
