Job Title: Guest Services Supervisor
Job Duties: • Provide direction, supervision, guidance and be able to hold accountability to all employees involved in the daily operations of Front Desk, Concierge and Butler Services. • Greet and ensure that all guests are assisted at all times in a friendly and helpful manner and attempt to learn and use guests’ names at every opportunity. • Perform check in, check out and room change procedures while providing efficient and quality service standard. • Ensure luggage for all guests are delivered promptly. • Prepare newspaper orders and coordinate with newspaper vendors for early delivery; supervise Bell Person for newspaper delivery. • Maintain cashier float and ensure accurate daily report of all money received. • Maintain exemplary departmental standards of behavior, appearance, and attitude at all times. • Conduct shift briefings to ensure hotel activities and operational requirements are known. • Attend to guests’ complaints, inquiries and requests, and refer problems to his/her superior if he/she is unable to assist. • Handle VIP guests from all over the world, mainly from Asia regions (China, Japan & Korea, etc.) • Accompany arriving/departing guests from/to hotel and airport. • Liaise with Transportation department on transportation and baggage arrangements. • Ensure the information of the airline and relevant information including weather and road conditions are kept updated and provide the information to the guests accurately and promptly. • Is knowledgeable of all special promotion procedures. • Ensure that all equipment in Front Office are accounted for and are always in good condition. • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of standard reservation procedures including correct forms to use, how to read fax, email, messages, and how to interpret availability sources within the Reservations system. • Perform the audit balances and prepare all works for audit in an orderly fashion. • Take full responsibilities of the superior in his/her absence. • Ensure guest satisfaction during shift and monitor team members with the same awareness. • Report accidents, injuries, unsafe work conditions and/or security issues to supervisors. • Remain well-mannered and well-groomed as per department and company standards at all times. • Adhere to the company policies and procedures and comply with the Code of Conduct. • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements: • At least 2 years’ working experience in customer service in a 5 star hotel / cruise / well-known property • High school graduate; GED; or above • Understanding of Hotel Property Management System (preferably Opera) • Proficiency in MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint • Good communication skills and interpersonal skills • Responsible self-starter, capable of handling multi-faced projects and of working under pressure • Good problem solving, independent and communication skills • Patient, cheerful and positive outlook • Ability to follow through and attention to detail • Has strong sense of teamwork and is committed to the team • Able to work on flexible shifts including overnights, weekends and holidays on rotation basis • Fluent in English • Ability to communicate in Asian languages (either Chinese, Korean or Japanese) preferred. • Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time while performing duties. • Team player who responds quickly to demands and thrives in a high-pressure work environment. • Able to multi-task.

Comments: Workers Compensation provided. Housing, food and transportation may or may not be provided, contingent on a case-by-case basis.
