Job Title: Senior Director – Wardrobe & Linen
Job Duties: • Design and configure all inventory management systems for Laundry, Wardrobe & Linen. • Continuously focus on maximum efficiency both on the manpower planning and supplies forecasting by measuring financial performance against budget and guest satisfaction indexes. • Oversee and manage all aspects of laundry and linen with third party supplier. • Oversee and manage the daily operations of the Wardrobe. • Manage the uniform design process for the initial installation and on-going replacement of uniforms. This includes coordinating with all department heads and vendor for designs and production to achieve the best outcome for the market positioning of the property and the practicality of the job. • Monitor the flow of traffic at the uniform collection desk. • Ensure par levels are maintained and automated conveyor and inventory systems are operational. • Ensure outlets have sufficient levels of linen and terry in their respective outlets. • Ensure employees deliver Company high standards of quality and services. • Develop and monitor operations policies and procedures. • Development and continuous improvement of departmental training programs fostering the career development of all team members. • Develop, implement and monitor quality control mechanisms for the Laundry, Wardrobe & Linen, includes service standards, uniform dry cleaning, pressing, staff grooming, equipment and chemical use, and health & safety. • Monitor and inspect the daily upkeep and maintenance of the Laundry, Wardrobe & Linen and routine maintenance scheduled with Project & Facilities Management. • Anticipate and respond to employees’ requests and escalated complaints and ensure repairs and other issues are resolved promptly and to their satisfaction. • Ensure employees have a complete understanding and comply with the rules and regulations. • Ensure all employees adhere to all security procedures and practices. • Effectively communicate guiding principles and core values to all level of employees. • Oversee department administration and paperwork • Coordinate and monitor the preparation of department operating expenses. • Create departmental training plans and operating procedures for Laundry, Wardrobe & Linen. • Supervise, direct and lead the team to achieve department goals. • Conduct daily briefings and disseminate Company information to the team. • Hire, train, supervise, and manage Laundry, Wardrobe & Linen staff. • To Implement standardized systems, operational tools or execute audits • Implement operational strategies to ensure quality and productivity. • Adhere to the company policies and procedures and comply with the Code of Conduct. • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements: • At least 7 years’ experience in Hotel/Housekeeping industry • At least 4 years of Wardrobe operations experience for managerial position in casino hotel • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent working experience • Equivalent professional training is preferred • Excellent interpersonal / presentation skills • Experience in managing budgets, revenue proposals and forecasting results. • Strong leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate the team to achieve high level of performance and exceed targets • Strong organizational and planning skills • Proficiency in MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint • Responsible self-starter, capable of handling multi-faced projects and of working under pressure • Proactive and innovative problem solver • Team player, who values teamwork, has good team building skills and is able to communicate effectively with all levels of employees • Results oriented, demonstrates advanced business acumen and accepts accountability for results • High-energy team player • Fluent in English • Ability to speak Cantonese or Mandarin is an advantage • Self-motivated, well-organized, responsible, friendly and polite with excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Team player who responds quickly to demands and thrives in a high-pressure work environment. • Able to multi-task.
