Job Title: Assistant Executive Housekeeper
Job Duties: • To ensure the Housekeeping Department is managed efficiently, according to the established concept statement; and adhere to Hotel’s policy and procedure • To monitor and ensure room servicing and cleanliness standard are maintained at all times • To ensure daily V.I.P rooms, special request rooms, long staying guest rooms for arrival are checked and in line with standard set-up by the company • To develop Housekeeping employees to work according to the operational, financial, administrative philosophies and willing to become multi skilled and perform multi tasks • To delegate appropriately, duties and responsibilities to equipped and resourced employees, nurturing and developing them whilst ensuring standards of operation and safety are maintained • To develop and assist with training activities focused on improving skills and knowledge • To ensure employees have a complete understanding of the rules and regulations and comply with them • To boost employees’ morale and provide mechanisms for performance feedback and development • To effectively communicate guiding principles and core values to all levels of employees • Report accidents, injuries, unsafe work conditions and/or security issues to supervisors Make sure operational handover is place and properly managed • Interact with department and team members, management, and contractors professionally and positively. • Encourage good relationships, promote team spirit, and ensure effective two-way and multicultural communications. • Adhere to the company policies and procedures and comply with the Code of Conduct. • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements: • At least 2 years’ supervisory level experience in Housekeeping operations in a 5 star hotel / well known property • High school graduate or above • Equivalent professional training is preferred • Excellent interpersonal / presentation skills • Responsible self-starter, capable of handling multi-faced projects and of working under pressure • Proficiency in MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint • Team player, who values teamwork, has good team building skills and is able to communicate effectively with all levels of employees • Able to work on flexible shifts including overnights, weekends and holidays on rotation basis • Fluent in English • Ability to speak Cantonese or Mandarin is an advantage • Self-motivated, well-organized, responsible, friendly and polite with excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Team player who responds quickly to demands and thrives in a high-pressure work environment. • Able to multi-task.
