| Job Title: | Assistant Manager - Automotive Maintenance |
| Job Duties: | • Oversee and manage the daily operations of the Automotive team • Monitor daily staff schedule, ensuring staff are reporting to work, leaving and taking their breaks on time • Oversee the regular equipment and facility audits, schedules Preventative Maintenance Inspections and reviews the results, monitors repairs • Maintain automotive cost effectiveness, include reviewing equipment failures and component replacements to identify trends, and monitoring key expense indices (e.g., fuel, replacement parts, tires, labor hours, equipment, etc.) to identify and implement cost-saving strategies. • Ensure adequate inventory levels (e.g., parts, tires, etc.) to support business processes • Adhere to purchasing limits, expense approval procedures, and equipment disposal guidelines to remain within cost plan • Contains costs by using warranty; evaluating service and parts options. • Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt. • Manages external vendor relationships, works closely with auto mechanics and internal customers • Review and approve automotive expenses • Determine employee training needs to produce continuous development plans • Conduct performance evaluations and resolve individual and group performance issues • Develop and monitor operations policies and procedures • Consistently meet departmental production objectives • Recruit, hire and train quality people in all service positions • Continuously improve health and safety standards • Encourage good relationships, promote team spirit, and ensure effective two-way and multicultural communications. • Adhere to the company policies and procedures and comply with the Code of Conduct. • Perform other related duties as assigned. |

| Qualification Requirements: | • 5 to 8 year or above of technical experience in an automotive repair shop servicing current model vehicles, minimum of 2 of those years in a managerial role • High School Diploma or G.E.D., courses in automotive repair or electronics is preferred • Ability to communicate in English to deal with guests and internal staff from Asian and International countries; knowledge of Chinese is an advantage. • ASE certified is preferred. • Good computer skills, including but not limited to MS Outlook, Work and Excel. • Thorough knowledge of techniques and procedures of automotive maintenance and repairs; preventive maintenance methods for automotive equipment. • Skill in use of tools, equipment and machines related to automotive repair. • Proficient in all phases of work performed in the shop. • Ability to keep records and produce reports. • Ability to plan, assign, inspect and supervise the work of automotive mechanic personnel. • Must be familiar with electronic control systems, engine components and systems • Must have a current and valid commercial driver's license (CDL ) • Able to work on shifts and be flexible regarding work schedules according to business demands • Team player who responds quickly to demands and thrives in a high-pressure work environment. • Able to multi-task. |
