Job Title: Shift Supervisor - Surveillance
Job Duties: • The candidate is responsible for coordinating and supervising the activities of all surveillance employees on assigned shift, in an effort to ensure the protection of life and property. • Monitors all areas of the property at all times, identifying potential security and/or safety risks and reporting them to the appropriate individual or entity, for proper resolution. • Ensures the quality of operations in the Surveillance Department on assigned shift. • Maintains a working knowledge of all rules and regulations of the Gaming Commission, and ensures strict adherence to same throughout the property. • Protects casino assets and gaming integrity, through the consistent, thorough monitoring of all activities on property, particularly on the gaming floor. • Directs the flow of surveillance reports to the proper individuals within the casino, always maintaining the highest level of confidentiality. • Advises surveillance employees on assigned shift of duties and responsibilities, and ensures that they are completed in a timely, efficient manner. Reviews all daily activity reports and prepares shift reports for management. • Coordinates, with the Security Department, when surveillance discovers a matter which needs further investigation or attention. • Facilitates the flow of information throughout the department, by attending regularly scheduled departmental meetings. Observes, documents, videotapes and reports any unusual or suspicious activities on property. • Regularly inspects the premises, identifying potential safety or security hazards, and reporting same to the appropriate individual or entity, for proper resolution. • Reviews surveillance tapes and reports, providing detailed information to appropriate casino officials and outside agencies, as needed. • Hold records and reports. Makes suggestions and recommendations, as appropriate, with regard to possible changes in the policies and procedures of other departments, with the protection of casino assets in mind. • Remain well-mannered and well-groomed as per department and company standards at all times. • Adhere to the company policies and procedures and comply with the Code of Conduct. • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements: • Candidates must have at least a high school diploma or general education degree (GED). • Successful candidate shall have the ability to coach and mentor less experienced surveillance personnel. • Course in Protection of Casino Games and Casino Operations and Management preferred. • Experience working as a Surveillance Operator. Knowledge of and experience with closed circuit television equipment preferred. • Must possess excellent observational and communication skills. • Must be able to detect schemes or cheating activity aimed at the casino or its guests. • Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time while performing duties. • Team player who responds quickly to demands and thrives in a high-pressure work environment. • Able to multi-task.

Comments: Workers Compensation provided. Housing, food and transportation may or may not be provided, contingent on a case-by-case basis.
