Job Title: Operator - Surveillance
Job Duties: • Answer incoming calls without delay and in a friendly and helpful manner and attempt to learn and use guest’s name at every opportunity • Handle guests from all over the world, mainly from Asia regions (China, Japan & Korea, etc.) • Know and understand details about breakfast, lunch and dinner packages, promotions, facilities and services, and upsell sales opportunities for restaurant reservations and other areas after hours • Answer, record and process all guest calls, messages, requests, questions or concerns • Dispatch requests and enquiries to Bell, Butler, Duty Manager, In-Room Dining, Engineering and Housekeeping when required • Review shift logs/daily memo books and document pertinent information in logbooks • Process requests for wake-up calls and conduct appropriate follow through • Accept and relay guests’ messages promptly, either manually, written or through voicemail system • Review shift logs/daily memo books and document pertinent information in logbooks • Log all “Do not disturb” and “Incognito” requests, telephone service requests, and after hours systems calls • Assist the supervisor to prepare Guest Services Center performance reports • Is knowledgeable of all special promotion procedures • Attend to guest’s complaints, inquiries and requests, and refers problems to his/her superior if he/she is unable to assist • Report accidents, injuries, unsafe work conditions and/or security issues to the superior • Remain well-mannered and well-groomed as per department and company standards at all times. • Adhere to the company policies and procedures and comply with the Code of Conduct. • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements: • Relevant experience in the Hotel industry • High school graduate or above • Initiative, organized and detail-oriented; excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Understanding of Hotel Property Management System (preferably Opera) • Proficiency in MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint • Able to work on flexible shift including overnight, weekends and holiday on rotation basis • Ability to work under pressure • Fluent in English • Ability to communicate in Asian languages (either Chinese, Korean or Japanese) preferred. • Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time while performing duties. • Team player who responds quickly to demands and thrives in a high-pressure work environment. • Able to multi-task.

Comments: Workers Compensation provided. Housing, food and transportation may or may not be provided, contingent on a case-by-case basis.
