| Job Title: | ELECTRICAL ENGINEER |
| Job Duties: | Coordinates special projects and performs specialized engineering and technical tasks involved in the installation, maintenance, servicing, modification, troubleshooting and calibration of electrical, complex integrated diagnostic systems, components and equipment. Interprets engineering and vendor information, schematic diagrams and graphic illustrations utilizing electronic and electrical principles. Improves or makes special test set ups to conduct functional checks of equipment, design circuitry to connect various components of complete electrical systems and other complex integrated systems involving specialized instrumentation. Provides engineering and technical counsel on codes to ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and maintains preventive maintenance records. Prepares reports as required. Provides technical assistance and instructions to staff in the maintenance and operation of equipment. Recommends the purchase or acquisition of electrical equipment, components, products, systems and related accessories. Advises supervisory staff of equipment deficiencies and makes appropriate recommendations as required. Maintains company performance indicator standards on a consistent basis. Provides mentoring to equipment technicians and leadership in the management of departmental operations and major projects. |
