| Job Duties: | • Design network/telecommunication solutions with reliable connectivity to support application systems including resilient features for High Availability and Disaster Recovery. • Support the installation and maintenance of core/edge/firewall/remote network equipment and facilities in accordance with defined procedures. • Enable network security and administer access accounts with different privileges according to security policies and service level standards. • Monitor and report performance of network/telecommunication including issues on a regular basis. • Re-configure and fine-tune server/network architecture in co-operation with the System Operation & Technical Support team for optimal cost effective performance. • Liaise with vendor on matters related to network/telecommunication installation and maintenance. • Handle and report any unsolved issues to management in a timely manner. • Provide second-level support to Service Desk for network/telecommunication infrastructure issues. • Evaluate new network/telecommunication technology and produce relevant reports. • Remain well-mannered and well-groomed as per department and company standards at all times. • Adhere to the company policies and procedures and comply with the Code of Conduct. • Perform other related duties as assigned. |

| Qualification Requirements: | • EDUCATION Diploma/Degree holder in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or related disciplines. • CERTIFICATION CCNA/CCNP, JNCIA, ENA Certifications preferred. • REQUIRED EXPERIENCE Minimum 4 years in network/telecommunication development and operations in a sizable enterprise Hands on experience with network/telecommunication installation, administration and maintenance Support IT operations, preferably in a large hotel / casino environment. • Enable or create network monitoring & diagnostic programs and/or tools. • Able to maintain platform and network security. • Data Center experience and operation skill. • Excellent problem solving skills • REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE Expert level in routers/switches at different levels, firewall and IDS. • Thorough understanding of TCP/IP applications and Internet access and connectivity. • Familiar with network equipment from Cisco, Huawei, and Juniper Networks desirable. • Experience with storage systems (SAN, NAS). Experience with Clustering service from Windows, or others. Hands-on with Virtualization management of server environments. • Hands-on with server/network monitoring tools. • IT internal processes, policies and procedures. • Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time while performing duties. • Team player who responds quickly to demands and thrives in a high-pressure work environment. • Able to multi-task. |
