Job Title: Sales Manager (Korea Market)
Job Duties: Manages sales activities and daily operations of the Korean market. 1.Group handling •Communicates with PIC Korea and other agent party for follow up the group requirements. •Communicates with internal departments for the group functions. •Manages line staff for assist group requirement. •Prepares invoice & group memo. •Assists agent & account department for group payment. 2.Site inspection •Communicates with department for giving notice of inspection. •Explains PIC products and showing our product with a smile. •Suggests upgrade handout information. •Reports his/her manager for name/company name/other comments after the inspection. 3.Dealing with guest Complaints •Handles guests complaints, meets the guest and reports to his/her boss, and suggests the solution to fix the problem. After action is taken, should follow up for guest satisfaction. 4.Media & Fam tour handling •Assists Director of Sales to handle the Media. •Organizes special dinner, select the menu, prepares the itinerary to showcase the best products of PIC Saipan. •Collects feedback from Media or Fam tour later on, and trying to improve the media or Fam tour in the future. 5.Korean Web/ Blog maintenance • Monitors PIC Korean web site & PIC Korea blog weekly. •Updates PIC Korea blog 3 times per month. •Updates personal blog about PIC news at least 3times per month. 6.Sales Calls •Plans monthly sales calls. •Visits tour agents, gives special activity of PIC monthly, and make sales call reports weekly and reports to the Director of Sales. 7.Assists the Director of Sales •Director of Sales is on leave, handles all reports of other Korean market issues related to the department head or Sales Market directors. •Handles the tour agent’s request while Director of Sales is on leave. •Checks Korean translation from other departments and reports it to Director of Sales. 8.Managing the Korean Market Assistant •Trains staff on responsibilities. •Monitors her/ his area to improve the job. •Assists the Director of Sales with urgent requests for Fam tours or groups. 9.Monitoring Coupons, VIP gifts or Honeymoon (HM) giveaways •Conducts inventory with Front Desk on promotion cupons/stickers. •Conducts inventory with Housekeeping on HM giveaways •Reports inventory to the Director of Sales 10.Month end report •All the duties listed above should be reported on the month end report.

Qualification Requirements: Minimum of five (5) years of hotel industry experience, plus three (3) years of Korean Market sales management experience. Must be proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English and Korean, and be proficient with the use of hotel PMS (Micros Opera) and Microsoft Office (Word / Excel). Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
