| Job Duties: | Will work for a family general practice clinic. Screens patients by reviewing patient charts; Performs triage duties by getting the patient's vitals and document that information in the patient's chart, prior to the patient seeing a provider; Performs as an interpreter for patients to assist providers, as needed; Performs simple laboratory procedures as requested by a Provider; Assists Providers with procedures. Cleans and sterilizes instruments for procedures; Prepares and completes all specimen worksheets for procedures; Completes the necessary paper work for each patient, such as lab forms, referral forms and other patient forms; Assists with the scheduling of appointments for patients; Files proper documents in patient's chart; Pulls out and files patient charts; Assists with the inventory of medical and pharmaceutical supplies, if needed; Prepares exam and triage rooms to ensure that they are all clean, fully stocked with supplies and ready for the next patient; Performs other related duties as assigned. |
