| Job Duties: | Develops and maintains relationships with local Japanese tour companies and local representatives of Japan wholesalers. Coordinates all local marketing efforts targeted to Japanese tourists while in Saipan, places advertisements in Japanese language publications, forecasts wholesaler materialization, organizes Japanese groups, represents hotel at JSTA and local Japanese Society. Supervises Japanese market campaigns, conducts weekly sales calls and hosts Japanese media and travel agent familiarization tours. Coordinates sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas and advice dealers, distributors and clients concerning sales and advertising techniques. Assigns sales territory to sales analyses to determine customer needs, volume potential, price schedule and discount rates. Develops sales campaign to accommodate goals of the company. Prepares weekly and monthly reports and assists with marketing plan. Directs staffing, rating and performance evaluations to develop and control sales programs. Performs other related duties as required. |

Must be proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English and Japanese, and be proficient with the use of hotel PMS (Micros Opera) and Microsoft Office (Word / Excel). Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. |
