| Job Title: | Airport Concession Supervisor |
| Job Duties: | The Airport Concession Supervisor position is responsible and accountable for the supervision, organization, and assistance, if necessary, in the preparation of food items in accordance with company standards and airline specifications. The position ensures that its staff keeps work areas in good sanitary condition; requisitioning food items and disposable items; and stores/rotates food items properly. The position also is involved in the management and organization with regards to either accepting coupons from business class passengers entering the VIP Lounge, inclusive of accepting monies for non-business class passengers who choose to use this lounge. Manages the full range of activities involved in the Business Class Lounge staff engaged in proper cleaning, mixing if necessary, and cutting in the preparation of all food items to be dished out onto the buffet area. Administers its activities to achieve the financial objectives in accordance with company policies and objectives. Manages its organizational standards and development of staff so as to achieve the maximum effectiveness. Manages the coordination of the buffet setup according to menus and specifications. This position must manage its food cost and wastage, along with its labor cost for operational efficiency and program effectiveness. All costs will be reported to the Resident Manager/General Manager. Requisitions all food items, beverage items and equipment used in a buffet style set-up area. Ensures complete customer satisfaction with quality and standards of the company service and products. Utilizes left over food and ensure proper rotation, labeling, and dating of food. Supervises staff to ensure proper sanitizing of hand and equipment; following of safety rules and that the work areas are kept in a clean and safe condition. Liaise with the Saipan International Airport Authority on airport activities to ensure the compliance of airport regulations and ordinances concerned. Ensures that company rules and regulations are followed and enforced by proper counseling and disciplinary action. Must also ensure that its staff receives an “employee appraisal performance”, as well as, addressing complaints and solving problems. Maintains proper staff levels; assign work to staff. Performs other related duties as may be required by the mission of the VIP Lounge and other LSG’s Kiosk within the airport. |
