| Job Duties: | Marianas Aviation Services is in need of a total of 5 Airport Ambassadors for the new program coming to the Saipan Airport in partnership with the MVA. The program is expected to begin in early August and training will begin as soon as we have all 5 Ambassadors. Languages specifically needed are Chinese and Korean. additional languages are helpful such as Japanese and Russian, (or other tourist languages), but our needs at this time are primarily for Chinese and Korean. Airport ambassadors job is to help reduce the wait time in the customs area which has negatively affected tourist satisfaction upon arrival. They will be badged for airport access and will be working in the arrival area of the airport and help arriving passengers with paperwork as well as directing the flow of traffic to reduce the wait time and increase the efficiency of the processing of arriving passengers. Ambassadors will be required to attend a 24 hour training session on subjects such as basic first aid, crowd control, customer service, Customs and Immigration Forms, and basic language skills for the 4 primary tourist languages. Current schedule is part time, and will be 49 hours a month, and will work 3 or 4 days a week. Hourly rate is $8.00 to $0.25 per hour additional for fluent speakers of one of the 4 primary tourist languages. |

| Qualification Requirements: | 1 Must be at least 18 years-old; 2. Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Green Card Holder; 3. Must be able to read, speak, write and understand English (additional languages a plus); 4. Must have a valid CNMI driver’s license; 5. Must be able to pass a Criminal History background check, no felonies, no misdemeanors (minor traffic violations subject to consideration as long as they are not habitual); 6. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.; 7. Have reliable transportation; 8. Maintain a presentable, tidy and well-groomed appearance; 9. Able to from 1:30am to 5am, 3 or 4 days a week and be available for other coverage as needed. 10. Customer service experience of at least 2 years preferred. |
