| Job Duties: | AN Industrial Electrician install, services and repairs wiring, conduits, fixtures and other electrical devices and system in an industrial or commercial setting and performs electrical repairs on heavy equipment, trucks, and light duty vehicles. Job duties may include installing, services and repairing wiring, conduits, fixtures, motor controls, starters, relays and other electrical devices and systems in an industrial or commercial setting and on equipment. Other duties may include running electronic test and inspections, cleaning contacts or circuits boards, ensuring that system are grounded, and installing disconnect, panels, outlets, lighting fixtures, wiring harnesses, and switches. Preventing measures such as oiling motors, bending conduit, and replacing old wiring are also among duties. All works performed by an industrial electrician must meet the regulations of the National Electrical Code. |
