Job Duties: Read blueprints or technical diagrams Install and maintain wiring, control, and lighting systems Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers Identify electrical problems with a variety of testing devices Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power tools Follow state and local building regulations based on the National Electric Code Direct and train workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring or equipment

Qualification Requirements: A College diploma or equivalent is required. 3 years experience as a electrician. Applicants must have training in vocational schools, related on-the-job experience, or an associate's degree. Related Experience Previous work-related skill, knowledge, and must have a minimum of one or two years experience. Applicants must have knowledge on the following : Building and Construction — Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair of houses, buildings, or other structures such as highways and roads. Mechanical — Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. Mathematics — Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications. Design — Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and model.
