| Job Title: | Property & Casualty Personal Lines Underwriter |
| Job Duties: | •Entertains queries from clients on the phone and from walk-in clients; pre-qualify and analyze coverage needed and makes appropriate recommendations. •Prepares the Approval Slips and other pertinent underwriting information on personal lines accounts and coordinates with the Guam or Manila Office for the approval of accounts beyond the underwriting authority of the branch. •Prepares the necessary quotations and proposals in order to generate new and renewal business in accordance with existing underwriting guidelines and within the limits of authority of the branch. •Explains policy coverage and exclusions to the clients. •Reviews the current client’s coverage and recommends changes in the coverage to the client as needed to ensure adequate protection on their properties. •Reviews the branch’s personal lines monthly expiry list in order to ensure the timely renewal of all policies. •Prepares and issues personal lines policies and endorsements of the branch. •Ensures the attachment of pertinent documents to all issued policies and endorsements into the Insoft system file of the account. •Signs policies and endorsements for various P&C lines based limits of authority granted •Conducts inspection of risks in order to gather adequate underwriting information, as needed |
