Job Title: Chef De Partie
Job Duties: Controls and monitor hot and cold section in the kitchen. • Oversee, prepare and aid in preparation, cooking, baking and presentation of different variety of special cuisine. • Assist Head Chef in checking completeness of all food needed, hot and cold area, equipment, inventory and delivery. • Ensuring unit is clean, tidy and sanitized at all times. • Ensure that all completed jobs are fully checked before leaving the unit. • Work closely to the Head Chef and other cooks to ensure that the function runs smoothly. • Delegate duties to other cooks working in their section. • Monitor to make sure variety of food quality, presentation and safety standards are being adhered to. • Troubleshooting any issues arise in any section. • Working with the Head Chef and the kitchen team to maintain high standards in the quality of food both as to its preparation and its presentation. • Perform other task as determined and assigned by the Head Chef or Executive Chef.
High School Diploma Required? Undetermined
Qualification Requirements: Associate Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent. Five to ten years work related experienced in pastry. Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive attitude, professional, neat and well groomed at all times. Must have passion in cooking plus baking, creative and dedicated team player with the ability to work in a multicultural environment and under difficult condition as well knowledgeable in a variety of cuisine. Be able to stand for prolonged period of time. Willing to work in flexible shifts, days, evenings, weekend and holidays. Full understanding of licensing responsibilities and environmental health standards. Highly qualified in preparing variety of pastries and knowledgeable in food production and processing. Food Handler Certified.
