| Job Duties: | Oversee factors affecting electrical aspect of ongoing or upcoming contracts re: costs, such as materials, and labor; Collaborate with engineers, architects, clients and contractors; Research for issued invitation to bid (ITB), invitation for bid (IFB), and posted project solicitations; Oversee/prepare electrical project bids, technical proposal, RFP/solicitation requirements, cost estimate, internal budgets and project contract activities; Maintain records of estimates and actual costs of projects (electrical); Calculate, analyze, adjustment estimates and recommend ways to reduce costs; Assist customers in identifying appropriate electrical supplies/materials for their projects; Ensure technical aspects of customer projects meet codes and federal standards (i.e. OSHA, National Electrical Code, etc.); Develop, maintain and update database of electrical distributors and lighting fixture manufacturers products and specs. |
