| Job Duties: | Manages sales activities of establishment that specializes in the wholesale and retail of electrical materials, equipment, machinery and supplies: Supervise inventory and directs buyers in purchase of electrical products, materials and supplies; Evaluate and negotiate agreements with suppliers on the basis of the price, quality, and speed of delivery of electrical products and services; Meet with customers and essential staff to review scope of work, contract and electrical materials needed to meet customers’ expectations and satisfaction; online research and communication with suppliers re: products, services and prices; Analyze price proposals, financial reports, and other information to determine reasonable prices; Negotiate contracts on behalf of company; Meet with staff vendors/customers to discuss defective or unacceptable goods or services and determine corrective action; Evaluate and monitor contracts to be sure that vendors and supplies comply with the terms and conditions of the contract and to determine the need for changes; Maintain and review records of items bought, costs, deliveries, product performance, and inventories. |
