Job Title: Public/Media Relations Specialist
Job Duties: Write materials for release to various communications media; Study the objectives, promotional policies, or needs of organizations to develop public relations strategies that will influence public opinion or promote ideas and services; Respond to requests for information from the media or designate an appropriate spkesperson or information source; Plan or direct development or communication of informational programs to maintain favorable public or stockholder perceptions of an organization's accomplishments or agenda; Establish or maintain cooperative relationships with representatives of community, consumer, employee, or public interest groups; Arrange public appearances, lectures, contests, or exhibits for clients to increase product or service awareness or to promote goodwill; Prepare or edit organizational publications for internal and external audiences, including employee newsletters and stockholders reports; Consult with advetising agencies or staff to arrange promotional campaigns in all types of media for organizations, or individuals.

Qualification Requirements: Require a degree in related field; Minimum four or more years work experience as public or media relations officer; Excellent written and oral communications skill; Possess strong leadership skill; Knowledge of the structure and content of the english language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules, composition and grammar; Must be able to express ideas clearly and logically; Must demonstrate good judgment and a strong sense of ethics; Flexible work hours and on shifting schedules including week-ends as needed; Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines; Creative, broad range of knowledge, self motivation and perseverance are valuable; Ability to motivate, organize, focus and support team; Experienced in promoting publicity materials and releasing it through various communications media; Experience in developing relationship with media and agencies, a must; should have valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
