| Job Title: | Medical Supplies and Equipment Technician |
| Job Duties: | •Assists in the operation of the medical supply/equipment section: stocking, inventory, sales, customer service and other tasks, as assigned. •Responsible for MHS's durable medical equipment (DME). Duties include cleaning, maintenance and repair. •Assist in the selection and ordering of equipment and ensuring equipment delivery to MHS and/or appropriate users. •Prioritize and coordinate deliveries, pick-ups, and service calls in an efficient manner. •Maintains DME equipment and medical supplies inventory by checking stock and anticipating needs. •Maintains DME equipment by completing preventive maintenance schedules; conducting tests; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting and repairing malfunctions. •Installs new DME equipment by establishing, adjusting, calibrating, and testing performance. •Clean, disinfect, and functionally check durable medical equipment. •Functionally check and select ordered medical equipment and supplies. •Educate MHS staff and home care customers and other end users on medical equipment and performs demonstrations. •Performs other duties and assists other staff as needed or assigned. |
