Job Title: Assistant Manager, IT Infrastructure
Job Duties: •To be responsible for the Planning, Design, and Development of the IT system architecture including server/storage/backup infrastructure technology, configuration, environment, and resilient features for meeting High Availability/Disaster Recovery requirements. To supervise a team of System Engineers to perform system installation, configuration, monitoring and maintenance for continuous round the clock operation. To supervise the Data Center management team to perform monitoring and control the physical access that any unauthorized detect which should meet for the auditing compliance requirement. To participate in the feasibility study, evaluation, selection, design or review design and implementation of off the shelf systems. To be responsible for the license management for all server/storage environment, hardware utilities and any application/utility software related to the system infrastructure. To perform all duties in accordance with company approved policies and within the realm of the company vision, mission and values. Essential Tasks: Lead the implementation and support of IT system infrastructure and facilities. Provide technical advice during project implementation to other peer teams in IT Department. Supervise technical staff involved in : Design server/ storage/backup solutions with reliable connectivity to support application systems including resilient features for High Availability and Disaster Recovery. Support the installation and maintenance of server/ storage/backup systems and facilities in accordance with defined procedures.Manage system security for the access control and enhance the security level within the server environments including change control policy and security patches implement. Maintain the Directory Service to support user credentials for login authentication across to the corporate Intranet and manage the user/group rights to access to the AD-integrated applications and file sharing service. Monitor and report performance of server/storage/backup systems including issues on a regular basis. Prepare the information of the Capacity Management to help optimizing the server utilization and performance. Define the Backup strategy and perform it as daily operation and make sure all backup tapes are safety to the storage of data in remote locations Restore/Recovery is depended on the user request or service contingency plan while any disaster happened. Control and operate the corporate Data Center and its backup site. Re-configure and fine-tune server/network architecture in co-operation with the System Operation & Support team for optimal cost effective performance. Handle and report any unsolved issues to management in a timely manner. Provide guideline and procedure to Hotline/Field Service team how to support the ongoing operational tasks while serving to the user departments. Provide second-level support to Help Desk for infrastructure and system issues. Evaluate new server/ storage/backup technology and produce relevant reports. Design, review and implement I.T. Directory Service management process. Design, review and implement event, incident and problem management processes. Monitor and report performance issues as required and manage escalation. Liaise with I.T. Compliance team to prepare the proven evidence of systems security based on the auditor’s requirements.Perform vendor management in accordance with department strategies. Make appropriate recommendations on internal IT processes.

Qualification Requirements: Education: College Degree holder in Computer Science or Information Technology Related Curriculum a minimum. MCSE, VCP, ITIL v3 Certifications preferred. Work Experience: Minimum 6 years in enterprise server environment support with at least 3 years in a supervisory / team leader role. Managing sizable I. T. projects, preferably in a large casino. Use of system monitoring & diagnostic programs and tools. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Good interpersonal and Communication skills. Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; develops alternative solutions and uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism; treats others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position Knowledge of and ability to appropriately interpret and follow policies and procedures Knowledge of and ability to adhere to safety and security procedures; reports potentially unsafe conditions; uses equipment and materials properly Ability to present and express ideas and information clearly and concisely in a manner appropriate to audience, whether oral or written Ability to meet the demands of the work schedule, to be at work and on time. May occasionally require the ability to work outside of regularly scheduled hours. Schedules may vary based on business need Must be able to work independently or with a team Proficient computer skills including e-mail, word processing (Microsoft Word), spreadsheet (Microsoft Excel) database, PowerPoint, presentation.Comprehensive knowledge in MS Window 2008/2013, MS cluster, Linux and all equivalent operating system platforms, MS Exchange Server, MS SQL Server, MS SharePoint and TCP/IP networking, including Active Directory integrated DNS, DHCP and WINS operation. Expert level in SAN systems (e.g. HDS or other vendors) desirable. Expert level in clustering service from Windows, or others. Knowledge in server virtualization environments. Familiar in server/network monitoring tools. IT internal processes, policies and procedures. Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy procedure manuals, and other related documents. Able to communicate effectively in English (Written/Spoken).
