| Job Duties: | Plans itineraries and arranges accomodations and other travel services for customers of the company as doing business in Tour agency and Jungle tour services. Converses and communicate preferably withKorean and Japanese tourists with tehir dialects orr language and other customer/tourist of foreing countires who are visiting the island as to determine destination, mode of transportaion, travel dates, financial considerations and accomodations required. Tour guide provides customers with brochures and publications containing travel information, such as local customs, point of interest and special events occuring in various locations or foreing country regualtions such as, consular requirements and currecny limitations. computes cost of travel accomodations using calculator, computer carrier tariff books and hotel rate books or quotes packages tour's cost. She/He can book trasnportations and hotel reservations using computer terminal or tleephone. Can collects payment from customers for payment of transportations and accomodations. Plans describes, arranges and sells itinerary tour package and promotional travel incentives offered by various travel carrier, utilizing knowledge of available services and pormotional techniques. tour guide may specialized in foreing or domestic travel, incividual or group, specific geographical area, airplane chrters or package tours. Myabe located in transportation terminal and specialize group and individual escorted tours and be designated tour agent & do other related duties. |
