| Job Duties: | Teach lessons, prepare materials and provide activies in academic and social situations that implement the values of Saipan International School. Serve as class advusor for middle school. Coordinate Science Olympic program. Plan and develop grade appropiate curriculum with staff. Participate in staff development and meetings. Conduct assessment, keep records, and report progress of children on a quarterly basis. Plan extra-curricular functions and field trips for students. Submit reports to the principal in a timely manner. Perform extra duties and activities that have been cooperatively developed by the headmaster and staff members. Contribute to the improvement of Saipan International School. |

| Qualification Requirements: | The teacher is responsible for instructin and curriculum development for students in grades 6 through 12. An advance degree in Science is preferred. Specific experience is required in the fields of Life Science, Earth Science, Physical Science, Marine Biology, Chemestry and Physics. In addition the teacher is responsible for the teaching of Algebra II/Trigonometry. this position is also requierd to coach Math Counts and Math Court after school programs. The coordination of the annual Science Olympic program for grades 6-12 is the repsonsbility of this person. Work is performed under the immediate supervision of the SIS HEadmaster. |
