| Job Duties: | Provide admin support to an attorney in the overall administration of the legal office; performs coplex,responsible,& confidential admin for the law office with detail require confidentiality, initiative independent judgment & strong intel-personal skills. Aid the attorney in a staff capacity by coordinating offices services such as personnel,budget preparation & control, housekeeping,record control,& special management studies. Types of independently prepares correspondence & legal motion & pleadings; maintains variety of legal & administrative files and records. Screen calls, visitors & mail, interprets office policies, rules & regulations; independently responds to letters and general correspondence of a routine nature; files legal notices; make travel arrangements; maintains appointment schedules and calendars; arrange meeting and conferences; obtain & assembles materials required; types & correct draft; take & transcribes oral dictation from meeting,prepares legal papers & correspondence of legal nature, such as summons,complaints, motion & subpoena. Files pleadings & legal documents and papers at the Supreme,Superior & District Courts. May review law journals & other legal publications to identify court decisions pertinent to pending cases and submits article to the attorney. Perform other related duties as required or assigned as permitted by. P.L. 11-51. |

| Qualification Requirements: | An associate decree or an equivalent combination of education and three years increasingly responsible administrative and legal work experience to an attorney; handling public documents and has an extensive public contact. Advance computer skills and mastery of Windows, word processing; spread sheets and data base mamagement apllication software; English usage garammar, spelling and punctuation; modern office methods, procedures and equipment and business letter writing, can communicate effectively, orally and in writing handle confidential information; type accurately from clear copy at a speed of 60 NWPM; compose correspondence independently; compile and maintain copies and extensive records and files; monitor various deadlines and legal requiremens for compliance with laws and regulations; undertand and carry out oral and written directions. |
