| Job Duties: | Prepares seasons and cooks Korean and Japanese soups, meat vegetables, desserts and other food stuff for consumption at the stablishment-Korea House Restaurant. Reads menu to estimate food requierement and order foods from supplier of prcures foods in the storages. Adjusts thermostaat controls to regulate temperatures of ovens, broilers, grills roasters and steam kettles. Measures and mixes ingredients accordng to recipe, using variety of kitcehn utensils and equipments such as blenders mixers, grinders, slicers and tenderizers to prepare soups, slads, gravies, desserts and casseroles. Baked, roast, broils and steam meat, fish, vegetables and other foods.Add seasoning to foods during mixing or cooking according to personal judgement and experience. Observes and test foods being cook by tasting, smelling and piercing with fork to determine that it is cooked. Carves meat, portions food on serving plates, adds gravies and sacue, garnishes vegetables and fruits to prepare them for use. May butcher, chicken, fish and hsellfish. May cut trim, and shred bone meat prior to cooking. maybe designated accoding to meal cooks or shif worker. May substitute for or relieved or assists other cook during emergencies or rush periods. may supervise other cooks in the kitchen and do other related duties. |
