| Job Duties: | Responsible for all networks operations for CNMI. Direct management and coordination for the installation of Nortel network in the CNMI. Develop new services and devices for the network. Groom the network for opex efficiency and consolidate the networks into one. Be responsible for the development and presentation of Network Engineering capex and opex plans to the board of directors. Redesign the CNMI's existing network topology and considers and prepares other long term strategic planning. |

| Qualification Requirements: | Engineering degree from an accredited college or university in telephony, electrical, or electronic engineering, or related field. 15 years experience in the networking and/or engineering aspects of telecommunications with 5 years related managerial experience. Knowledge of: a. Telecommunications standards and practices b. Telecommunications network switching and maintenance requirements and regulations. c. Telecommunications equipment, business systems, networks, and processes, to include switches and network operations. d. Accepted management theories and practices e. Principles and concepts of team building, strategic planning and resource management. |
