| Job Duties: | Assists Production Manager in coordinating , through subordinate supervisory personnel, activities concerned with production of company product(s), including the design and printing of labels, utilizing knowledge of product technology, production methods and procedures, and capabilities of machines and equipment: Confers with management personnel to establish production and quality control standards, develop budget and cost controls, and to obtain data regarding types, quantities, specifications and delivery dates of products ordered. Assists in planning and directs production activities and establishes production priorities for products in keeping with effective operations and cost factors. Assists in coordinating production activities with procurement, maintenance, and quality control activities to obtain optimum production and utilization of human resources, machines and equipment. Assists in managing the entire print team to ensure cost effective and high quality print production and procurement. Direct management and development of the print strategy and equipment that enables effective print production and procurement. Reviews and analyzes production, quality control, maintenance and operational reports to determine causes of nonconformity with product specifications, and operating of production problems. Develops and implements operating methods and procedures designed to eliminate operating problems and improve product quality. Revises production schedules and priorities as result of equipment failure or operating problems. Consults with engineering personnel relative to modification of machines and equipment in order to improve production and quality of products. Conduct hearings to resolve or effect settlement of grievances and refers unresolved grievances for management- union negotiations. Perform other related duties assigned and required. Perform other related duties as assigned or as required including the performance of duties allowed under PL 11-51. |

| Qualification Requirements: | High school graduate or equivalent plus 2 years experience as an Asst. Production Manger or in garment finishing and printing and in the operation and maintenance of knit printing and other associated equipment, plus supervisory experience. See attached KSA. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES (KSA) – Asst. Prdn Manager Must have excellent knowledge about knit production procedures, processes, techniques, methods, line mix and balancing, and staffing requirements Current knowledge of label printing, graphics, desktop publishing, and high volume reprographics techniques. Knowledge of purchasing procedures; cost estimating and production control Knowledge of Quality Standards of International markets Skill in operating various types of printing equipment and solving ordinary equipment and process Skills in layout, design, proofreading, and copy editing. Problems and training new employees Ability and experience in managing personnel in a knit apparel factory Ability to manage over 400 workers Ability to lead a team of Floor In charge. Capable to tackle all sorts of production issues & challenges. Ability to organize and controls the efficient production of goods in a production, and ensures that products are made to customers' specifications and delivered on time. Must have handles employee motivational programs in an organization of at least 300 workforce. Must be to work long and irregular hours as required and may also be on call. Excellent communication skills of spoken language of production workers. Flexible communicator-can deal with all types of employees, from rank-and-file to managerial level. Must be computer literate i.e MS WORD; EXCEL; Power Point; MS Project Software, etc.. PHYSICAL/COGNITIVE REQUIREMENTS In performing his/her duties the incumbent must be able to exert up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 lbs. of force frequently, and/or up to 20 lbs. of force constantly to move objects. EQUIPMENT The incumbent must be able to operate KNIT finishing and printing machines, wrappers, folders, collators, perforators, scorers and numberers. |
