| Job Duties: | Assist the general manager plan and carry out policies relating to all phases of personnel activity: Assist recruit, interview, and select employees to fill vacant positions. Plan and conduct new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward company goals. Keep record of insurance coverage, pension plan, and personnel transactions, such as hires, promotions, transfer, and terminations. Investigate accidents and prepare reports for insurance carrier. Conduct wage survey within labor market to determine competitive wage rate. Prepare budget of personnel operations. Meet employees and supervisors to resolve grievances. Write separation notices for employees separating with cause and conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations. Prepare reports and recommends procedures to reduce absenteeism and turnover. Represent company at personnel-related hearings and investigations. Prepare budget of personnel operations, using computer terminal. Administer manual and dexterity tests to applicants. Perform other related duties as required or as assigned. |
