| Job Duties: | Responsible for supervising,coordinating and participating in the activities of staff engaged in the preparation and serving of meals to hotel guest and employees. Check daily menus,functions, ordersn and forecast to determine the kind and quantity of ffod items to prepare. Estimate food consumption,requisition or purchases foodstuffs. Select and develop recipes. Observe and test foods being cooked, sample all food prepared. Attend to meal suggestions, cafeteria meetings and complaints. Cook or otherwise prepares food according to recipes. Check the freshness,quality and quantity of supplies. Prepare weekly schedules,trains and evaluates performance of the staff. Does other various related duties as required and directed. |
