Job Title: | Financial Accountant |
Job Duties: | Prepare, review and analyze financial statements or other accounting records for accuracy, completeness, consistency and compliance with state, federal laws and generally accepted accounting principles. Performs technical complex accounting work for company fiscal operations. Analyzes and implements fiscal control procedures, recommend changes to improve systems and financial performance. Review accounting engagement tasks for new clients. Review billable and non-billable expenses including adjustments to ensure that the coding of billing and expenses are accurate within established practices. Analyzes billing schedules and responds to inquiries regarding billing issues and problems. Reviews check requisitions ensuring validity of transactions, proper authorization and supporting documentation and general ledger coding consistent with company’s prescribed policies and procedures for financial operations. Provides analytical reviews of operating expenditures by performing periodic reconciliation of accounts. Completes monthly operating reports on expenditures, fixed assets schedule and aging of accounts receivable. Processes and monitors expenditures, researches availability of funds and prepares periodic reports. Prepare adhoc reports and analysis as requested; performs other duties as required and assigned. |

Qualification Requirements: | Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. Work Experience: Five years of progressive professional-level accounting experience in financial reporting. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, Accounting Software such as Tabs3, Clio, Intuit Quickbooks, and Peachtree. Strong analytical skills and high level of attention to detail and accuracy. Good command of verbal and written English. Ability to work independently, multi-task, under pressure and deadline oriented. |
