| Job Duties: | Repair only one system or component on a vehicle, such as brakes, suspension or radiator Inspect vehicles for damage and record findings so that necessary repairs can be made Troubleshoot fuel, ignition, and emissions control systems, using electronic testing equipment. Repair, overhaul or adjust automobile brake system using power and hand tools Test electronic computer components in automobiles to ensure proper operation Repair or replace defective ball joint suspensions, brake shoes, or wheel bearings. Align wheels, axles, frames, torsion bars, and steering mechanisms of automobiles, using special alignment equipment and wheel-balancing machines. Tune automobile engines to ensure proper and efficient functioning. Repair, replace, or adjust defective fuel injectors, carburetor parts, and gasoline filters Install or repair air conditioners and service components, such as compressors, condensers, and controls. Conduct visual inspections of compressed natural gas fuel systems to identify cracks, gouges, abrasions, discoloration, broken fibers, loose brackets, damaged gaskets, or other problems. | Comments: | BIG BELL INC. is looking to fill Five (5) AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE TECHNICIAN position in Saipan, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands. This is a TEMPORARY, full-time position and we are looking to fill the job opening for employment from 03/02/2020 to 09/30/2020. Terms & Conditions of Employment: Workers will be paid no less than $ 7.98 per hour. Overtime will be paid at a rate of 1.5 times base hourly rate. The employer will offer 40 hours of work per week. Work hours 8:00a.m to 5:00p.m. Three-Fourths Guarantee: Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or its extension, if any. Transportation and Subsistence: If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide, reimburse or advance payment for the worker’s transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker’s voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily Transportation: Workers will be provided with daily transportation to and from the worksite. Board, Lodging, or Other Facilities: Workers will be provided with board, lodging or other facilities and/or employer will assist workers in securing board, lodging or other facilities. Tools Equipment & Supplies: The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. Miscellaneous: The employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. Workers will be paid bi-weekly by check. The employer will make all the payroll deductions from the worker’s paycheck required by Local CNMI and Federal Tax law.
