Job Title: | Senior Accounting Associate 13-2011.01 |
Job Duties: | Computer, classify, and record numerical data to keep financial records complete using Sage/Peachtree Accounting Software. Perform any combination of routine calculating, posting, and verifying duties to obtain primary financial data for use in maintaining accounting records. Checks the accuracy of figures, calculations, and posting pertaining to business transactions recorded by other workers. Operate 10-key calculators, typewriters, and copy machines to perform calculations and produce documents. Develop, implement, modify, and document record keeping and accounting systems, making use of current computer technology. Analyze financial information and prepare financial reports to determine or maintain record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities within the organization. Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs. Review accounts for discrepancies and reconcile differences. Prepare adjusting journal entries. Establish table of accounts and assign entries to proper accounts. Prepare and submit tax documents. Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice to the management. |

Qualification Requirements: | Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or similar field. At least two (2) years continuous experience as an Accounting Associate or Accountant to two or less employers. Extensive knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial market, banking and the analysis and reporting of financial data. Substantial knowledge of local and federal taxation system. Extensive knowledge of accounting software such as Sage/Peachtree Accounting. Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite such as excel and excel formula system, Microsoft word, powerpoint, access, outlook, and publisher. The ability to choose the right mathematical methods or formulas to solve a problem. The ability to communicate information and ideas in writing and speaking so others will understand. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, or divide quickly and correctly. Able to work flexible hours and on weekends if needed. Must have good morale character and be trustworthy. Comments: | EMPLOYMENT BASIS & DURATION: This job opportunity is for a temporary, full-time position beginning January 01, 2020 and ending December 31, 2022. WORK HOURS: Employees hired under this announcement will work on full time employment of at least thirty-five (35) hours per week. THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE: Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual fist date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. INBOUND/OUTBOUND TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE: The employer shall pay for all inbound transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract, or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker’s voluntary abandonment of employment. PROVISION OF TOOLS, SUPPLIES AND EQUIPMENT: Employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job duties.
