Job Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist
Job Duties: 1.Operate computers programmed with accounting software to record, store, and analyze information. 2. Check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes.3.Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations. 4. Operate 10-key calculators, typewriters, and copy machines to perform calculations and produce documents. 5. Process incoming mail concerning billing and invoicing.6.Communicate with clients about billing discrepancies and questions.7.Initiate collections on past-due accounts.8.Maintain accounting ledgers as required. 9. Handle all special billing situations.10.Prepare and analyze monthly aging of accounts receivable. 11. Perform general office duties, such as filing, answering telephones, and handling routine correspondence. 12. Access computerized financial information to answer general questions as well as those related to specific account. 13. Prepare bank deposits by compiling data from cashiers, verifying and balancing receipts, and sending cash, checks, or other forms of payment to banks. 14. Monitor status of customer accounts. 15. Recommend to management those delinquent accounts for submission to collection agency. 16. Calculate, prepare, and issue account statements, and other financial statements according to established procedures and customer requests.

Qualification Requirements: 1. Must have an Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field. 2. Must have at least 2 years experience in handling accounts receivable in a retail and wholesale trading company.3. Must be proficient in CounterPoint Point-of-Sale MS-DOS software.4. Must have knowledge in Microsoft Office operating system and web-based emails. 5. Must have experience with customer service and client communication. 6. Must have excellent attention to detail.

Comments: The job position is a temporary, full–time position with one (1) year duration. Work hours will be from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Mondays to Saturdays of every week but may vary depending on the work assignments given by the immediate supervisors or managers. The place of employment will be at ground floor, Transamerica Building, Middle Road, Chalan Laulau, Saipan Island. Applicants will be expected to live within reasonable proximity to the place of employment to perform the work as required by this vacancy announcement. The selected applicant will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. If the hired applicant completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide, reimburse, or advance payment for the hired applicant's transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the hired applicant is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the hired applicant originally departed to work, except where the hired applicant will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a hired applicant's voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Worker will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (except passport fees). Daily transportation from the residence of workers to the worksite is not provided. Overtime work and pay is available, and overtime hours are paid at a rate of 1.5 times that of the offered hourly rate in this vacancy announcement. Overtime hours shall begin to accrue after the 40 th hour of work within a calendar week beginning on Sunday and ending on Saturday. On-the-job training is not provided. The hired applicant will be provided, without charge or deposit charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the duties assigned.  Board, lodging or other facilities are not provided as part of compensation for this vacancy announcement.
