| Job Title: | MAINTENANCE BUILDING REPAIRER |
| Job Duties: | Determine maintenance schedule and perform routine maintenance on building equipment, machinery and systems to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently. Inspect, troubleshoot and repair building equipment, machinery and systems. Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs as necessary. Inspect, operate, and test equipment, machinery and systems to diagnose machine malfunctions. Inspect drives, motors, and belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, or perform maintenance actions following checklists. Clean and lubricate building equipment and machinery, parts, or tools to repair and maintain them in good working order. Replace worn, damaged, or defective electrical and mechanical parts of building equipment and machinery using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment. Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices. Test mechanical equipment and machinery to ensure that they are functioning properly. Clean equipment and machinery and surrounding areas. Observe function and operations of building equipment, machinery and systems. Collect data and submit reports on repair and maintenance works performed. Prepare and submit orders for materials, supplies and/or equipment and machinery. Prepare estimates on troubleshooting and repair works for building equipment and machinery. |
