| Job Duties: | Performs carpentry, plumbing, glass replacement, painting, masonry, grounds keeping, appliance repair and electrical wirings; knows standard practices and use of variety of hand and power tools used in the maintenance and repair of building facilities and cleaning and general maintenance work inside and outside facilities. Helps in installation, maintenance, and repairs parts of building facilites. Perform duties, such as furnishing tools, materials, and supplies to other workers; cleaning work area; Tend and observe equipment and machinery in order to verify efficient and safe operation. Examine and test machinery, equipment, components, and parts for defects, and to ensure proper functioning. Adjust, connect, or disconnect wiring, piping, tubing, and other parts, using hand tools or power tools. Clean or lubricate vehicles, machinery, equipment, instruments, tools, work areas, and other objects, using hand tools, power tools, and cleaning equipment. Apply protective materials to equipment, components, and parts in order to prevent defects and corrosion. |
