| Job Duties: | Preventative maintenance job duties include, but are not limited to, cleaning; inspecting and replacing fuel filters and water separators; obtaining fuel and lube oil samples; testing engine emergency stop and overspeed devices, test operating generator engines; test operating ramps; lubricating fittings; testing pressure switches and alarm circuits; cleaning, inspecting and lubricating valves; inspecting hoses; cleaning and inspecting ventilation dampers; flushing and inspecting drains; test operating air compressors; removing and stowing dehumidifier units; cleaning, inspecting and lubricating mechanical jacks; fresh water wash downs; routine oil changes; fluid changes; battery inspections, electrical system testing, as detailed on the maintenance log sheets. |

| Qualification Requirements: | • Applicants should have a strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. • At least 18 years old and in good physical condition. • Practical experience in automotive, heavy equipment or marine engine repair. • Should posses basic computer aptitude and be familiar with Word, Excel or similar programs. • Good organizational, planning and prioritization skills. • Good oral and written communication skills. • Experience with budgeting and purchasing process is preferred. • Knowledge of military inventory systems will be extremely useful but not essential. |
