| Job Duties: | • Diagnoses, repairs and overhauls engines, transmissions, components, electrical and fuel systems, etc. for various powered and rolling equipment such as, cars, trucks, and buses, farm equipment, and generators. • Performs tune ups, brake jobs and other preventative maintenance on cars, trucks, buses, and other powered rolling equipment; replaces common parts and makes adjustments. • Repairs mowers, tractors, and other small engines. • Designs, welds, and fabricates steel, aluminum and stainless steel fabricated projects using mug, tug, stick and gas. • Assists in the writing of specifications for acquisition of District vehicles. |

| Qualification Requirements: | Welder Qualifications Advex welders are qualified by testing a welder's ability to weld with a filler metal to a WPS. Advex's welding program is designed to meet welding specifications specifically used by a job or generally specified by the company. This includes, but is not limited to, the maintenance of qualifications, visual (eye) examinations, as well as on-goin workmanship training. Advex extends its' welder training program to independent welders and welders working for other manufacturing firms. Minimum of 1 year or more experience preferred and need a certification of employment. |
